Real Estate Legends Podcast is Personal, so is Real Estate

Everything about the way I practice real estate is personal to me. I think it is for most of us, if we realize it or not.

When I started in the podcast, I had an idea about legends as large figures who had accomplished one or more impressive milestones in real estate.

What I found was some of the most interesting stories of the human drama, and how a person addressed it. Real estate creates all sorts of life situations, and the legends all took each day and made it the best for their journey.

Real estate has many avenues to create wealth and power, as well as a way to create and connect community and people. That is where the gold is, the connection we each have and its special place in our lives.

My fabulous dj daughter Hannah and me.

Family and community is important to me. From childhood to today, that is how I lived my life. When I coached my daughter in water polo. one of her teammates Michelle ended up working with me for around 10 years, and interviewed me for the podcast. I started the podcast with my daughters Hannah as my sound engineer. She is an accomplished dj and instantly gave me guidance and yes, feedback. It was her input that made me look at legends again. And we are changing.

These experiences are what started my curiosity as to what makes people successful. Working for several brokerage firms exposed me to many great Realtors and people that rose to the top of their field in many related industries. I’ve watched people go from just starting in their profession to becoming a force. In getting to know these trail blazing Realtors, loan officers, developers/builders, managers, property owners etc. this podcast was born.

Greg Viti, Chicagoan

As a third generation Realtor whose grandfather formed his real estate firm in 1937, my experiences have taught me that dedication to integrity, responsibility, and building strong relationships is the key to success. With over 34 successful years in real estate, I remain excited about guiding clients through each stage of the process and take pride in helping them achieve their goals.

From first-time condo buyers to seasoned sellers and investors, I focus on providing an outstanding client experience, negotiating the best possible outcome, and serving as a trusted advisor for the long term.

My passion for real estate stems from the creative sensibilities developed in early adulthood. My background in construction took me from building custom homes to owning my own woodworking business. Clients appreciate my easy-going demeanor and patience with the process, but know I will fiercely negotiate on their behalf. I am an attentive listener, responsive, and truly put my clients need above all else. My longevity through decades of real estate cycles is a testament to my flexibility and keen understanding of the Chicago market.

A lifetime Chicagoland resident, I grew up in Highland Park and live in Streeterville. I am a proud father and number one fan of two beautiful daughters and an appreciative husband of Susan, a media director. I maintain my high energy and enthusiasm through my passions which include skiing, golf, workouts at the gym, playing guitar, and biking the unique neighborhoods of the city.
