In his new venture, Michael is taking his vast experience and MBA and created In House. It is not just a “service” available online. Not just a pass thru to anyone. It is a LOCAL service that has the name and commitment from Michael Walczak, and he intends to deliver to that standard.  Michael will only go as far as he can service today in Chicagoland. Convenience and security for local owners backed by local experts with a proven track record.

About Mike and his bio: Michael Walczak (pronounced Wall-Zak) is the Founder and CEO of In House, a Chicago-based home maintenance and property management company redefining how homeowners care for their properties. After years in construction and real estate, Michael recognized a massive gap—homeowners needed proactive, reliable, and high-quality maintenance, not just repairs when things broke. That realization led to a major pivot, founding In House as a premium, membership-based service focused on preventative maintenance, repairs, and total home care.

Under his leadership, In House has grown from a concept to a full-scale operation, now offering quarterly maintenance, handyman services, HVAC and plumbing, exterior repairs, and home assessments—all with a white-glove, concierge approach.

Currently, Michael is driving In House’s next growth phase, including participating in the University of Chicago Booth’s New Venture Challenge, launching a major sales push for membership expansion, and refining the company’s scalable business model.
